How we handle your information
Gender identity is sensitive, special-category information. We treat it with the care it deserves and collect only what we need to coordinate your care.

Who we are
Gender Affirming Thailand is operated by Flymedi BV, a medical-travel company, which is the data controller for the information you share with us. You can reach us at hello@genderaffirmingthailand.com, and we’re happy to provide our full registered company details on request.
What we collect
The details you choose to share through our enquiry form or messages: your name, contact details, preferred language, the procedure you’re interested in, your timeframe, and anything else you tell us. To coordinate care we may later collect relevant medical history, with your explicit consent.
Special-category data
Information about gender identity and health is special-category data under GDPR (Article 9). We process it only with your explicit consent, only to coordinate your care, and we don’t use it for anything else.
Why we process it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange consultations and surgery with a partner hospital, organise your travel and accommodation, and provide aftercare, all on the basis of your consent and to take steps at your request.
Who we share it with
Only those needed to deliver your journey: the partner hospital and surgeon you choose, accommodation and transport providers, and our own service providers. Our website is hosted on Netlify, and enquiry-form submissions are processed through Netlify’s form service. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool that measures aggregate, anonymous traffic (such as page views and referring sources) without storing cookies on your device or collecting personal data. The site is also verified with Google Search Console, which does not place cookies on this site. Fonts are self-hosted, so loading them sends no data to third parties.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Email hello@genderaffirmingthailand.com and we’ll respond within the legally required time.
Retention
We keep enquiry data only as long as we need it to support you, normally up to 24 months after our last contact, then delete or anonymise it, unless you ask us to remove it sooner or we’re required to keep it longer for legal reasons.
